Hey what's up everybody? Welcome back to my blog .You probably heard by now that Amazon Associates slashed their commission rates for multiple categories by 50% or more in certain cases. I always strive to give you guys the most genuine, transparent sort of perspective .so that you can make decisions on what to do next .and I want to give you guys both the good and bad .I never want to give just the bad without any of the good .

I do think Amazon Associates is something that you should still do it .may not be as attractive as it was before. I'm going to give you guy’s five real solid alternatives to amazon associates. If you're just thinking okay I don't want to play this game. I don't want to be in Amazon affiliate.

What are some other affiliate programs and networks and companies

that can offer me either higher commission rates or just so essentially more or less the same product.

I have been personally relied on amazon Associates since 2016. It doesn’t mean that I quit. You know after chosen other but just means I haven't relied on it or have been dependent on it for years now. and again Amazon one the reasons why it's a good program to learn ,is because there’s millions of products .and it’s honestly one the easiest to get into these programs. We’re driven to the five right now and I promise you a lot of these are bangers. You need to have like a legit custom website to get approved by this program.

Alternative 1 Walmart, Target and Best Buy

Let's start at number one and this is actually going to have three companies within once .you get three for one right here .and we’re starting off with Walmart, Target and Best Buy .people may be thinking you know I don’t want to sell on Amazon anymore or some alternatives .and when you think about it.

Walmart has been trying to compete with Amazon for quite some time now .

and Amazon Yes, they are the king of online e-commerce .but Walmart is still the absolute king of retail. Walmart has been working on getting just more sales and improving and optimizing their online ordering process and platform .and trying to get up to Amazon and catch up to speed. You know I don't have the numbers in front of me but Walmart, target, and Best Buy These are huge markets .and Amazon is just one platform and one market .and I think of Amazon is just this huge thing that ever uses, but they handle half of US e-commerce .now half is still more than anyone else, but it's still only half.

So you have to ask yourself where's the other half of e-commerce coming from .where are people ordering. Where are people buying .it obscene not Amazon. What comes to mind is all these programs, Walmart, target, Best Buy, they all have their own affiliate programs you can do anything through these programs. For the most frightening. There's millions of products here. If you're looking for just an alternative in terms of like sort of big-box store, you know. And one of the popular stores for everything, then a mixture of Walmart, target, Best Buy look into those. You can look them up and that’s going to serve as the first alternative to amazon.

Alternative 2 eBay.

Number two is actually one of my personal favorites and this one's really awesome. Number two, we had eBay. All right, so I've been an eBay customer for so long now five-star review average. I've used it to buy and sell multiple, multiple things .eBay has every single category. You can literally buy cars on eBay .you can buy things that are, let’s say 2000,000 dollars all the way down to the things ,that probably cost like two bucks or even just cents on the dollar.

So eBay I don't need to give them a certain introduction. It's an auction website, but to be honest with you. I personally even buy just normal things on eBay because sometime they have price on Amazon .and there is a business model known as arbitrage and what people do is they buy something off eBay, sell it on Amazon for more. If it's not really something that's popular in Amazon or no one has actually offered on Amazon and vice versa. May be you buy something cheap on Amazon and you sell for more on eBay. and you're thinking. Why would someone pay more if it's cheaper on another platform?

You guys should be surprised how little homework people do when they're buying products and again it half of US e-commerce is done through Amazon .you have to wonder where the other 50% is going through. EBay is one of those platforms. so you know in the first example, Walmart, target Best Buy that handles like basically everything for the most part

but eBay really is almost a direct replacement for Amazon,

and even in certain cases, it can be better because if were talking about. Let’s say like luxury goods, like maybe luxury watches, I think that eBay has a much better market. And people are comfortable buying on eBay because they have more features, such as authenticity, guaranteed and verified these like that. I don't think that they really have on Amazon as much .and I don't really think of Amazon for buying luxury watches. But I know people buying so much luxury watches on eBay all the time. So, certain markets like that is just one example in throwing at you.

But eBay's is more direct replacement to being in everything store compared to Amazon.

Because you can really find anything you want.

Alternative 3 commission junction.

Right number three is commission junction. Commission junction is awesome they have some of the biggest brands like, Nike, Adidas does, under armor, bows. They do have pretty much anything you can think out. They have a lot of travel and even have airlines and hotels. Dozens of categories, thousands of companies which just in turn means thousands of products. so commission Junction is basically a network that has direct affiliate programs on it .so we’re looking at commission rates that can be as high as 10%, 15%, 20%, 30% on commission Junction Depending on the company .

and so a lot of biggest billion-dollar companies are actually found on commission Junction. So it's a great network to be a part of .you do need a website and you need to get approved to join just like with any of these programs so that's I recommend you guys get started. Even if it's just a little blog to talk about your passion, or something of expertise and then I recommend you start that today because you never know what that's going to turn into in the future.

Alternative 4 all birds

Alright so at Number four we have direct affiliate programs I been in love with my all birds shoes. Lately, these are wool sneakers were, sustainable to the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever owned .and so basically they have a direct affiliate program. Where they’ll pay up to 15% if someone purchases a pair of sneakers .so allbirds is an example where it's useful for the customer. Because they generally buy directly from the manufacture. and so you get to get commission off that and get a higher commission .and will for talking 15% on a $95 shoe then that is a nice chunk of change for self .

So yeah with these directed affiliated programs literally just go to Google, type and copy you’re a fan of or your customer and then add affiliate or affiliate program. And Chances are you were going to find something obviously not every company on my earth has affiliate program.

But for the most part every company that I'm interested in promoting, I’m usually able to find some sort of affiliate program, referral program, partner network and sense of opportunity there to partner up.

Now directing offer commission rates up to 40% .and one of those programs is click funnel which I’ve talked before in my blog. Where literally from complete Zero is able to scale up a 4000 month recurring commission from click funnels. If it's something that’s software where it’s very profitable then you he can offer up to 40% recurring commission .so there's so much potential, right there it's insane.

Alternative 4 Amazon Associates

Okay, last but not least I hope I’ve been able to serve up some really, really good alternatives for you guys. I really think that even just a mixture of Walmart, target, Best Buy even just eBay alone. I mean, that really gives you such a large sort of number of products to choose from.

alright guys the last one that I want to give to you, and I promise you I'm not trolling, but number five is actually Amazon Associates .now okay I don't want you guys o hate me for this. We have to understand when you're handling 50% of all US e-commerce, there is no replacement for you .let’s be honest here I'm Amazon customer myself. I love Amazon. I mean it's just an amazing company with just the craziest infrastructure and logistics on the planet. With Amazon Associates it’s still viable. I get category like kitchen and automotive. They had not changed. Commission rates the way I see it is kind like free money. It's like if you buy stuff on Amazon. You must want to store some Amazon links you know in your videos on your website.

And if you get some sales good .if you don’t get sales it’s zero cost to join Amazon Associates .and zero cost to be a part of it. So okay if it doesn't cost you anything that I don't really see downside other than the fact that the commission rates are lower now.

But I'd rather have 3%of something then a 100% percent of absolutely nothing of Zero. This is the way I always think .that's how I operate is like if there is benefit to this and is it cost me anything. Basically, does the cost outweigh the benefit vice versa? For me I've never shut down my Amazon Associates account because there's no reason to. So believe or not I still make thousands of dollars from Amazon Associates which I have not focused on in over three years.

Why would you say no to something that's generating money for you just completely passive? Why would you shut that down, you know, I'm just sharing my real perspective on this. You know so many people are were to going to continue to buy the Amazon. And you don’t have to focus on it.

And I am not saying put all your eggs into one basket. I want you guys to diversify. I want you guys to learn through Amazon Associates which is the easiest of the program to get into. And it's the easiest one in terms of how many brands and millions of products are at your fingertips. I want you learn through Amazon but then take the same process ,the same fundamentals things you learn to other affiliate programs that have higher commission rate .whether it just a higher commission rate whether it’s just a higher commission per sale. Whether it is recurring commissions.
