referral link and if someone signs up and purchases that product with your
unique affiliate link .you earn a commission. There are so many different types
of affiliate marketing. that you can
promote physical product, more high ticket products, you can do CPA market .this
is so many different ways of doing it .but I am not just going to give you around them overviewing
this article and kind of leave you lost
a what to do next. I am actually going to give you a step-by-step blueprint
to help you succeed and hit six figures from an affiliate market. Based on
how I make my money.
STEP-BY-STEP BLUEPRINT TO HELP YOU SUCCEED AND HIT SIX FIGURES FROM AN AFFILIATE MARKETING.
STEP 1 FIND AND FOCUS ON ONE MAIN PRODUCT
step one the first thing you need to do is find
and focus on one main product ,the biggest mistake that all these new
affiliates make when the coming to the affiliate marketing game is that trying
to promote 510 different things at once. They are jumping on product launches
.this is a new product, I’m going to promote that. And then week later they’re
trying to promote something else. And a lot of time these products are actually
conflicting themselves. So just forget about all this.
Take a
step back. Stop with your shiny object syndrome.
Find a focus on one product .that you are happy to promote for the next year or
the next two or the next three years. And
it needs to be a product that you believe in yourself .and you know that if
they sign to that, they’re going to stay sign up to it for a long time .because
it is a good product.
Now I’m
going to give you an exact checklist of exactly what I look for before I
promote any affiliate product. And I am also going to show you where you can
actually find affiliate products as well.
RIGHT WAYS YOU CAN FIND PRODUCT
There is lots of ways you can find product but
there is this good website here called Capterra. Go to software
categories .and it’s basically a database of lots of different types of software. A lot of them are for businesses. You can find a lots of different products and
all you need to do is click on the product. And then go to Google and see
whether it’s got an affiliate program Bible in the name of the product,
followed by putting the name of the product followed by affiliate program.
and
usually it will come up , you can sign up to be an affiliate .than what you
want to do is just start to put together whatever list of kind of
product which tick the boxes ,that you would be happy to promote . And then eventually
can choose one that you want to focus your time and effort on.
Tonight decide on your main Product you’re
going to focus on .you are not just going to grab your affiliate link. And
begin spamming the entire Internet. And posting on the YouTube videos and in
the blog post .and randomly all over the place.
WHY DON’T SPAM INTERNET BY PUTTING AFFILIATE LINKS
One it
doesn't work and two it really annoys me.
So you are doing it, stop it now .and listen to what I’ve got to say
because you’re just wasting your time .if you're doing that kind of marketing .if
you want to succeed at affiliate marketing. You need to kind of give yourself
the edge above all of all of these random people, spamming the hell out of
links.
So you
need to take upper level .and there so many people just looking for a quick way
of succeeding with affiliate marketing. Which is why videos on YouTube where
it’s like “affiliate marketing with no website”, always get loads of views.
Because people just want the quickest way of making money. But the quickest way
usually leads to no money at all. So I’m going to show you exactly what you
need to do the proper way of doing it.
DIGITAL PRODUCT
So the
first thing you want to make sure, it’s a digital product. Because as I said you can select almost any
kind of product out there. You can want physical things like microphone.
DOWNSIDE TO PROMOTING PHYSICAL PRODUCT
But
the downside to promoting physical product is that they pay such a small amount
commissions. Whereas if you promote a digital product like
a software or an online membership or training or something like that .you can
get much much higher commissions at 50%, 60%, even 75% commissions. Because
once they created that digital product.
The actual overheads and the running costs are so low. They can afford
to give affiliate a lot more money.
#2 RECURRING $$$
The
next really important thing that you need to make sure that your main product has
got a nice, recurring commissions. And when I say return commissions, I mean
it's kind of like a membership-based products where the customer is paying a
monthly fee every month for use of the product. So like a software-based
product. And that means that you can get paid commissions every single month that,
that person Stayed signed up. And that has been super super important for
allowing me to get to six figures and beyond from affiliate marketing.
Because
when you're promoting a membership-based product, your income just grows every
single month. Because say for instance you get someone to sign up to an online
website builder. And you get 10 customers that month. You’ve got that 10 customers
paying monthly .and then in month 2 you get over 10 customers. So you do the
same amount of work, but that means by-
month-you’ve got 20 people ,that paying monthly commissions to you .and then
you end up with 30 people ,and then next month for 40 people .it keeps on
growing and growing and growing.
And
that means by months you’ve got hundreds and hundreds of people, that have use
your affiliate link. And they’re paying a monthly fee .and that means you're
getting monthly commissions from all of those people. And that’s why it’s super
super important to focus on membership-based products.
#3 SOLVES A PROBLEM
The
next thing you need to make sure that the product that your Promoting is high
quality and it solves a problem.
there's
no point promoting something that you don't believe in yourself .just to try
make up a quick cost .because what would happen is they'll just cancel a month down the line and you're not going to be
earning these recurring commissions .
for
this business model in this blueprint I'm sharing with you, you need to make
sure that you're promoting a product that they will stay signed up to .because
is a good product and that is super super important.
The
final point for this checklist is you want to try and find a product that's got
some kind of free trial or one dollar trial or low entry price at the start to
get the customers in. now this is super
important because it basically makes your job a million times easier .because
all you have to do is get people to sign up for free trial .than if the product
is a good product which you should believe you've chosen a good product, then
that product will do the selling for you .when they start to use it .and it solves
that problem. So your job is just to get
people in for free trial and then the product does the rest for you.
#4 FREE TRIAL
So if you can, when you're looking for a
product to promote. Try to find one that’s got some kind of free trial at the
start.
so
that the checklist of what you need to bear in mind when you're looking for
this one main product that you’re going to focus on .just leaving either. These could be things like website builders,
sales funnel builder, and email marketing software. Facebook messenger software,
fitness apps. If you’re in is fitness niche ,productivity apps for business
scheduling software, hosting for website tracking software .there are so many different options and they kind of
mainly falling into software as a service niche. But there’s so many different
niches within. that you can explore ,so the best thing to do is actually just sit down and research and try and find some products
that tick all the boxes .and choose one
products that you’re going to focus on.
